MEET DEBORAH BORN 

​

Deborah Born was elected to Perrysburg City Council in 2017. Ms. Born has been a resident of the City of Perrysburg since 1975 and is a 1980 graduate of Perrysburg High School. She attended Bowling Green State University from which she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 1984.

Ms. Born is the Chairwoman of the Recreation Committee. Ms. Born sits on the Safety Committee and Finance and Economic Development Committee and served on the Service Committee.  She was also appointed by City Council to Chair the Firefighters Dependent Fund.

Ms. Born is an Art Dealer and small business person.  She served on the City's Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee and participated in the Perrysburg Fire Division Strategic Plans for 2016-2019 and 2020-2023.  She currently serves on the Bowling Green State University Leadership Arts Council, the Leadership Council of BGSU, and the Toledo Zoo's organizing committees for two major donor fundraisers.  Ms. Born is involved with The Cocoon and sits on the Development Committee, as well as being involved with Safe Communities of Wood County.
